Getting started

Download, install, and set your range

The app is distributed directly as a small macOS disk image. Fan control requires a Mac with supported fans and the permissions requested by the app.

    Download the disk image

    Select Download free for Mac, then open KeepMyPUCool.dmg from your Downloads folder.

    Move the app to Applications

    Drag KeepMyPUCool to your Applications folder and open it. Follow any macOS prompts required for fan control.

    Adjust cooling

    Open the menu bar app, review your temperature and fan readings, and set the cooling range that suits your Mac.
